Wizard's Song

If you're asking, "Who is Wizard?," well.... Wizard was one of the bikers who wander through our Body from time to time; he just happened to be one who found the Living Word of the Living God ...and stayed. He was a friend-- of mine, of HJC's, of everybody's. This was a good man with a good heart who shared the love of the Savior with anyone and everyone. There was no one too broken, bruised or battered to receive a hug and kiss from Wizard.

'Wizard' was his road name, by the way; his real name was Albert Speelman. And we lost him to a motorcyle wreck {the fault of a driver bordering on senile}, and Heaven gained him, less than 24 hours before this service. To be honest, I don't even remember what I taught this Sunday. Our hearts were wracked with pain, that precious intermingling of joy and sorrow which can meet, happily, only at the feet of Jesus.

So, rejoice with us now, as we rejoice, for there is not a doubt in our minds that Wizard is dancing before the Lord of Glory even as I type. Hallelujah!
