Chesterton once said, "Love means to love that which is unlovable... or it is no virtue at all." In the first half of 1 Corinthians 13:4 Paul gives us a glorious introduction to 'what real love really is' by saying the Father's love, and therefore the love the Spirit bears as His "fruit" within us {Gal. 5:22-23}, is unbelievably "patient" and incredibly "kind."
