Theirs... or Ours?

Quite often we view the wounded souls, the hurting hearts, the broken lives-- the phenomenal emptiness of those around us, be it physical, material, emotional, mental, or spiritual-- as "their problem, their pain, their wounds." If we're intent on obeying Jesus and loving one another, selflessly and sacrificially, as He loved us then we're going to have be willing to see through something other than an 'us vs. them' set of lenses. There are no 'thems' in the Family of Faith, just broken brothers and sisters in need of restoration. Once we've begun to see through the eyes of grace, through the eyes of love, through the eyes of Christ, we soon realize that their wounds are our wounds, their hurts our hurts, their pains our pains.

Now what are going to do about what is ours?
