Ten Years After

Ten years after one of the most infamous dates in American history, we pause to honor those who gave their lives that day to sacrificially save those around them. It reflects, beautifully and profoundly, the courage and honor of our Warrior God, a Suffering Savior... in whose "image" they were made.

But we did more than just revel in the high tide of nationalism washing over our country. We asked some critical questions which deserve seriously thoughtful answers from every Lover of Liberty-- believing and non. Are we better off than we were ten years ago? Are we safer than we were ten years ago? Are we freer than we were ten years ago? Or more easily herded into the pens of 'government-knows-best'? Well....

Whomever was behind these attacks upon our sovereignty knew that if enough hysteria could be stirred up in a nation as prosperous and numerous as the US, if you could strike enough fear in the hearts of the people, we would accept almost anything. Any curtailing of our liberties in the name of 'security,' any expediture of American treasure {of which the lives of our young men and women in uniform is the highest} in the name of 'safety.' And we have... we have.
