"Nothing apart from Love." Isn't this the essence of Paul's Message in 1 Corinthians 13:1-3 ...that apart from love all my words are worthless noise? That apart from love, all my actions are less than honorable? That apart from love, all my so-called sacrifices {even of my life} are void of the Spirit?

If this is so, and I believe it undoubtedly is, maybe we should be "pursuing" with passion {14:1} the God who "is love," so that once we catch hold of Him-- clinging like Jacob at the Jabbok with the Angel of God-- we find His Love poured out by the Holy Spirit like a river within our hearts {John 7:37-39 cf. with Romans 5:5}.

And let's be honest... who couldn't use that?
