Oftentimes our opinions, like our politics, become just that: an idol. And an idol is something we worship, a false god we've given our hearts to in hopes of finding a return of life, peace, power, transcendence. As Time has proven in a million different contexts, no false worsip of a false god could ever substitute for a relationship of depth and intimacy with Abba.
