Acts 2 mentions the relentless devotion of the earliest disciples {not converts, but Followers in the Faith} to four things: the Apostles' teaching, the Fellowship {sharing our Life, love, wayfaring and warfaring in Christ}, the breaking of bread {Communion: the celebration of Jesus' sacrifice}, and prayer.
Notice the thing that sums up these four bedrocks of a Jesus-centred spirituality? Prayer. They begin with teaching and end where every aspect of worship should end... in prayer.
Scripture points out quite clearly in this historical account of the Day of Pentecost that if these four things are not embraced and in balance in a ministry, can we even call it the Church? It may be something, it's just not a Body of Believers.
