Jesus is the Firstfruits of the Resurrection, the One shining example of the New Creation to come... alive and well at Abba's right hand. Paul speaks of you and I, the Followers of the Risen Lord, as possessing the "Firstfruits of the Spirit." If Jesus gives us a gorgeous glimpse of the incorruptible flesh and blood to come, then the promise of the Spirit in all His fullness, all His power, all His presence, coursing through that incorruptible flesh and blood should overwhelm!
