We've all heard Jer. 17:9, probably more times than we can count. "The heart is desperately wicked," brother, "you can't trust it and you sure can't live from it!"
Really? Is that the final word on the heart... one single, solitary verse, removed from its Scriptural and historical context? There is more, much more to say about the heart, especially once it is ransomed and redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ, purified by faith {Acts 15:9}, and circumcised unto God {Rom. 2:28-29 and Col. 2:11-12}. And the 'more' is something we desperately need.
